Home Check in Time (Dubai only)

Airport Counter Check in Time 

  • If you’re checking in luggage, you must do it at least 90 minutes before your flight departs.
  • If you’re not checking in baggage, you must check in for your flight a minimum of 60 minutes before your flight’s departs.
  • If you haven’t checked in online, you must be at the airport at least:

Important 

  • Emirates online/web check in is not available for under-16-year-old passengers (unaccompanied minors travelling alone) and special needs passengers. They must check in physically at the airport counter.

    • Last name 
    • Booking reference
      (it is a 6-character alphanumeric code that appears after the ‘Booking Reference’ field, such as L5W4NW)

  2. Choose the name of the passenger(s) you want to check in
  3. Enter the Advance Passenger Information (if asked)
  4. Complete your online check in
    (before completing your online check in, you can change your seat or add your missing Emirates Skywards numbers)

  • Ensure that you have all necessary travel documents handy, including your passport, visa (if required), and boarding pass. 
  • Proceed for your security check 60 minutes prior to departure.
  • Be sure to reach the boarding gate within the boardingtime, which:

Emirates App Check in

To check in with the Emirates app, log in and follow the self-explanatory prompts to select your flight and check in. After you check in, a link to your mobile boarding pass will be sent to you by mail or SMS. Once you receive the email/SMS, click on the link to access your mobile boarding pass (you must have a live internet connection on your smartphone for accessing your mobile boarding pass).

If you don’t have 24/7 internet access, take a screenshot and save it to your device so that it can be scanned at the airport. When you’re using an iPhone, you can add your boarding pass to your Apple Wallet.

If you have a problem accessing your mobile boarding pass, you can collect a paper boarding pass at the airport’s check in desk.

Emirates Kiosk Check in (Dubai)
