If you’re holding a confirmed reservation, you can check in online from 24 hours to 60 minutes ahead of departure for international flights (45 minutes before departure for North America), and 30 minutes before departure for domestic flights to neighboring islands.

You May Not Be Able to Check in Online in the Following Cases 

You may not be able to check in online for your Hawaiian Airlines flight if:

1. You’ve recently modified your reservation
2. You’re traveling on a group reservation 
3. You’re traveling with a special service request, i.e.:

• If you’re traveling with an infant
• In the case of unaccompanied minors
• If you’ve made a bulkhead seat request
• You’re traveling with an animal 

4. You’re traveling with a paper/non-electronically issued ticket 
5. You’re traveling on a flight operated by a codeshare partner 
6. You’re traveling on a one-way international reservation due to visa requirements 

Note. If you’re traveling on an international flight to the United States, you will not be able to check in with your mobile device (i.e., mobile web browser or mobile app). However, you can use a computer to complete your check-in formalities online.

Hawaiian Airlines Mobile Check-in

If you’re holding a confirmed reservation, you can check in with the mobile app from 24 hours to 1 hour before departure for international flights (45 minutes for North America), and 30 minutes ahead of departure for domestic flights to neighboring islands.

How to Check in with Hawaiian Airlines’ Mobile App

You can check in with the mobile app by tapping on the check-in button and following the prompts to select your flight and check in. After checking in, you can download and save your electronic mobile boarding pass to your mobile device (Passbook or photo gallery). 

Tip

If your airport does not accept mobile boarding passes, you will have to check in online, at a self-service kiosk, or at the airport check-in counter.

You will not be able to check in at a kiosk if:

• You’re holding a group reservation.
• You’ve modified your reservation in the recent past.
