You can make group reservations online or by phone.

The Air Canada Stopover option (currently suspended due to COVID-19) is available for all itineraries where the connection time between successive flights exceeds 6 hours. You can use Air Canada Stopover (starts USD 49 plus taxes) to stay in a hotel in a Canadian city (Toronto, Montréal, or Vancouver) at no additional fees.

To opt for the Stopover, you must book at least 96 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time. 

If you’re booking online, select Air Canada Stopover (from the travel options) after choosing your flight. If you’ve already booked your flight, you can book online (if eligible) through the Manage booking page after retrieving your flight and selecting the option. You can also call your travel agent to book it for you.
