Award Reservation Change Fee: Miles & More

Lufthansa allows you to redeposit your Miles from completely unused award tickets for up to 1 year from the issue date once you cancel your reservation. You will be charged USD 60/EUR 50/CHF 70 for rebooking your flight (the fee can be waived for certain flights).   • Have a new ticket issued, based on availability, as long as the passenger remains unchanged. Although taxes will not be refunded, you will be charged a fee of USD 25/EUR 25 per ticket (or its equivalent in EUR). However, the fare price of the reissued ticket could be higher, equal, or lower, depending on the prevailing conditions at the time of re-ticketing.

You can change a Flex ticket (Economy or Business Class) to an earlier flight on the travel date and on the same day without paying any surcharge, subject to seat availability. You can rebook when you check- (online, through the mobile app, or at an airport check-in counter/machine), as long as you haven’t checked in your baggage or ordered a special service for your original flight.
