  • Passengers traveling with pets
    • Only small dogs and cats are permitted.
    • Pets can travel on international flights only from Mondays through Fridays. 
    • Each pet container can hold only 1 pet.

    • Children below 11 are not permitted to fly with pets.

  • Pregnant passengers
    • Women below 30 weeks of pregnancy can fly without medical approval. 
    • If traveling after 30 weeks of pregnancy, must sign a Liability Waiver Form that exonerates the carrier from any setbacks relating to their condition.
    • Must furnish a doctor’s written approval at check-in that authorizes the passenger to travel, also mentioning the current week of pregnancy.
    • On all flights within Panama, if the flight takes place 7 days before the due date, a doctor’s certificate must be issued within 72 hours before travel, stating that the passenger is physically fit to travel and the likely delivery date is after the last travel date. 
    • On all flights departing from Colombia, pregnant passengers in the 7th month of pregnancy or after must carry a medical certificate issued within 12 hours before travel.
  • Passengers traveling with Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POCs), respirators, CPAP machines, etc.
    • Such devices can be carried free of charge. 
    • Only devices displaying the manufacturer’s label per FAA requirements are allowed. 
    • Your device must be within the weight and size limits of a carry-on bag so that it fits under your front seat or in the overhead bin. If not, it must be transported as checked baggage.
    • Your POC’s batteries must be fully charged if you intend to use it during travel.
    • Extra batteries must be properly packed to prevent short circuiting.
    • Per FAA rules, personal oxygen units cannot be used during the flight as they contain liquid oxygen or compressed gas, both of which are considered hazardous materials.
