What to Do if You Require Special Assistance on Iberia Airlines

Passengers requiring special assistance on Iberia Airlines must fill out this online form before making a reservation. If you couldn’t book special assistance in advance, you must inform Iberia Airlines at least 48 hours before your flight’s departure.

If you’re travelling on an Economy Class fare, you can select from 4 seating options:

How can I make a seat selection for myself on Iberia?

If you have a confirmed Economy Class booking, you can select your seat in advance (for a fee) right from the time of booking till 1 hour before departure. If you don’t select a seat for yourself, you will be assigned one later free of charge. 

Seat selection for Business Class passengers is free. Depending on their fare conditions, Premium Economy Class passengers may select their seats in advance—either free of charge or for a fee. 

Can I change my seat after selecting it? 

Once you’ve made a seat selection, you will not be able to change it on the same flight until 24 hours before departure. If you decide to change your flight (and your fare conditions allow you to do so), you can select a similar seat on your new flight. If the seat is costlier, you will have to pay the difference. If such a seat is not available or you select a cheaper seat, the extra amount will be forfeited.
