  • You can cancel and refund:
    • An international flight at least 7 days before departure

The Volaris cancellation policy for international flights allows you to cancel and refund most international flight tickets at least 7 days before departure. Some important points about the Volaris cancellation policy for international flights are as follows:

  • Tickets to or from the United States or Central America can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours if you purchase at 7 or more days before departure.
  • Round-trip/connecting flight tickets to or from Colombia allow the cancellation of the first flight segment (one-way) or the segment prior to a connecting flight, as long as you inform Volaris before the departure of your first flight (or within 1 hour) by phone (Call Center) or at an airport counter. Failure to request a cancellation may result in the cancellation of your return flight reservation.
  • Non-promotional tickets to/from Colombia and Peru can be cancelled or withdrawn at least 24 hours prior to departure for a 10% charge/fee if:
    • You have not checked in for your flight, and 
    • You have informed Volaris about the cancellation/withdrawal through a call center, airport counter, or by raising a ticket online.
