You can make your flight booking online on Lufthansa and receive your e-ticket as follows:

Lufthansa Airlines Mobile App Booking

Lufthansa Airport Counter Booking

Booking your ticket at the airport terminal is an often-overlooked option, especially if must make it to your destination ASAP. Take advantage of last-minute cancellations and save money—with several airlines to choose from. All you need is a valid ID proof to show at the airport ticket counter. If you’re not sure, ask an airport agent for assistance. 

How to Check Your Lufthansa Flight Status

You can check your Lufthansa flight status online through the Flight Status tab located just below the booking box. You can search for your Lufthansa flight status by flight number, flight route, or airport.

To check your flight status on Lufthansa online:

1. Go to Lufthansa.com
2. Select the Flight status tab (lower part of your screen)
3. Select/enter your flight details
   (or click on the Search by route or airport link and follow the on-screen prompts)
4. Click on the Find button 

Your flight status will appear.

Lufthansa Senior Discount 

Lufthansa currently does not offer discounted fares for senior citizens. If you’re looking for Lufthansa booking offers for senior citizens, call and ask for a low-cost ticket. 

Lufthansa Group Booking

To qualify a group booking on Lufthansa, at least 10 passengers are required. To make an online group booking for 10 or more passengers, visit the Group Trips page on Lufthansa’s website. 

Note

• Online group bookings can only be made for groups that start their journey in Austria, Switzerland, or Germany.
• Online group bookings can be made up to 344 days in advance.
• Online group journeys for passengers can be cancelled if at least 10 passengers remain and the group terms allow the cancellation.

The other option is to call and ask for a group booking discount even if you have fewer than 10 passengers in your group or are travelling to/from a different destination from the ones mentioned above.

Lufthansa Advance Seat Reservations

You can make advance seat reservations on Lufthansa if:

1. Your flight is operated by one of the following airlines:

Lufthansa Seat Reservation—Premium Economy Class

You can make advance seat reservations on Premium Economy Class under the following 3 conditions:

1. If you’re an HON Circle member or Senator traveling with not more than 3 companions, you can make advance seat reservations at no extra cost on all Lufthansa-operated medium and long-haul flights (all booking classes).
2. Your flight booking is confirmed and not waitlisted.
3. You reserve at least 52 hours before your flight’s departure.

You can book a seat of your choice—such as an aisle seat, window seat, or a seat with extra legroom:

Lufthansa Seat Reservation—Business and First Class

Advance seat reservations on long-haul flights are free for Business and First Class passengers but subject to a fee on continental feeder flights.

Lufthansa Seat Reservation for Disabled Passengers

Passengers with special needs need to notify Lufthansa at least 48 hours before departure about the service they will be needing assistance on the ground or during the flight in the following 3 ways:

• By phone:
• At a Lufthansa Service Center in your area
• Online by registering their special needs 

Note

• You must inform your travel agency or Lufthansa about your reduced mobility at least 48 hours before your flight’s departure and also notify them of your specific requirements—such as the use of mobility aids and services, wheelchair requirement, taking a guide dog with you, etc.
• If traveling with a wheelchair, share its dimensions and weight with Lufthansa. 
• Reach the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight’s departure—and report to the special service or check-in counter.
• Obtain your medical care form due to reduced mobility or for a current medical reason, such as recent surgery, fracture, etc.
