Allegiant’s baggage policy for basic fares allows you to bring only 1 personal item for free—such as a purse, backpack, or a laptop bag, provided it does not exceed 7in x 15in x 16in in size. Any extra item—such as a carry-on bag or checked bags—will incur a route-based baggage fee. The baggage fees are lowest when paid in advance at the time of booking, higher at pre-departure (i.e., between booking and departure), still higher at the airport ticket counter, and highest at the gate.

Allegiant does not specify any weight limit for your carry-on items but requires that the personal carry-on item should fit easily under your front seat. You’re allowed to purchase only 1 carry-on bag—such as a roll-aboard bag, tote bag, or a garment bag, provided it does not exceed 9in x 14in x 22in in size and fits in the overhead compartment.

You can purchase up to 5 checked bags per passenger (4 online + 1 at the airport). The weight and size of the bag must not exceed 40lb/18kg and 80in/203cm (linear dimensions) respectively.
