The refund will be either for the unused portion of your ticket or both the used and unused portion of your ticket if travelling further does not serve any purpose, in which case you may additionally be entitled to a free return flight to your point of origin as soon as a return ticket is available.
  • If your flight is delayed by more than 5 hours due to reasons within TAP’s control, you can:
    • Travel on the re-routed flight offered to you at no additional cost, or

    • The person receiving the refund undertakes to return the amount of refund (as applicable) in case of fraud unless the fraud or use of the ticket was due to TAP’s negligence

You can also check the status of your refund from here. However, tickets issued within 48 hours can be refunded by contacting client support or the travel agency through which you booked your ticket.
  • You can request a refund even if you have used a part of your ticket.
  • If you receive your refund in the form of a voucher and want to receive it in cash, you must contact client customer service.
  • To know whether your voucher’s validity period qualifies for an extension, call client support service.
