You can check in online for your Sun Country Airlines flight from 24 hours to 1 hour before departure.
Exceptions

To check in online via the Sun Country Airlines’ website (or mobile website), follow the steps below:
- Go to SunCountry.com
- Click on the Check-in tab as shown above
- Enter your Last Name and Reservation Code
Note. Your reservation code is a 6-character code (e.g., ABCDEF) that you would have received in your confirmation mail after you purchased your ticket. - Follow the on-screen prompts to check in
Important. After checking in online, download or print your boarding pass and show it at the airport. If your flight is outside of the U.S., you will need to add your passport information in advance via My Trips or when you’re checking in online. Your passport must be valid for at least 90 days from the last date of travel on your booking and your name and date of birth must match that on your ticket exactly. After checking in, you will need to verify your passport at the airport kiosk (by scanning it), ticket counter, or boarding gate.
Note
- If you’re not a U.S. passport holder, you can check in online but you’ll have to obtain your boarding pass from the airport counter.
- You can also select/upgrade your seat during online check-in.
- Seat selections are free during online check-in.
- If seats are not available during online check-in, you will be assigned one at the airport.
- You can pre-pay for baggage during online check-in (or by calling Sun Country Airlines Reservations at ).
- If you’re carrying your printed boarding pass after checking in online, you can check your baggage at the airport (curbside, if available) or ticket counter.
- If you couldn’t print or download your boarding pass, ask for assistance at a Sun Country Airlines ticket counter.

How to check-in at an airport kiosk for your Sun Country Airlines flight
Most passengers can check in at an airport kiosk up to 60 minutes before departure (90 minutes at St. Thomas, STT). Self-service check-in kiosks are available at most U.S. airports and allow you to check in for your flight as well as make a seat selection/upgrade and purchase baggage, regardless of your destination.
You must pay with a credit card for any charges incurred for seat selections/upgrades and baggage purchases.

Airport counters are open from 3 hours to 45 minutes before departure U.S. airports and up to 60 minutes before departure at international airports—with the following exceptions:
- The airport counters at Los Angeles (LAX) close 60 minutes before departure.
- The airport counters at St. Thomas (STT) close 90 minutes before departure.
When do I have to be at the departure gate to board my flight?
You must be at the departure gate to board your flight:
