Swoop Airlines Online Check-in

You can check in for your Swoop Airlines flight online through the airline’s official website from 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure for domestic and international flights. 

To web check-in for your flight, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the homepage, FlySwoop.com
  2. Click on the Check-in a tab on top
  3. Select the departing airport from the dropdown 
  4. Enter your reservation code and last name
    (You would have received your reservation code at the time of booking; it is also included in the confirmation email you would have received after booking your ticket).
  5. Click on the Check-In button 
  6. Select your flight and follow the prompts to check-in 
  7. Now do any of the following:
    1. Save your boarding pass to your mobile device
      (if you’re using your mobile device to check-in)
    2. Email your boarding pass to yourself
      (to download and/or print it later)

As explained, after you’ve finished checking in, you will have the option to save your boarding pass to your mobile device, or email it yourself and print or download it. Regardless of how you save it, you must have your boarding pass readily accessible at the airport. 

Important 

  • You won’t be able to check in online if:
    • You’re a special needs passenger, such as an unaccompanied minor 
    • You don’t have an electronic ticket
  • If you’re carrying overweight or oversized baggage, you must drop your bags no less than 1.5 hours before departure.
  • Boarding gates close 15 minutes before departure.

Swoop Airlines airport ticket counters typically open 3 hours before departure and close 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights (Canada) and 60 minutes before departure for international flights. 

This means you should have completed your check-in and baggage drop:

  • At least 45 minutes before departure for any domestic flight within Canada
  • At least 60 minutes before departure for international flights

Boarding: Be sure to reach the boarding gate 45 minutes before departure when boarding begins. The boarding gate closes 15 minutes before departure, so you must be at the boarding more than 15 minutes before departure. If you’re late, you will not be allowed to board your flight and your fare will be forfeited (Swoop does not charge a no-show fee).

Boarding Pass: You must carry your own boarding pass. Your can either print it separately or have all boarding passes saved on the same device if you’re travelling in a group.
