• The following name changes/name corrections are alwaysfree through customer service:
  • Correction of misspellings, as long as it relates to the same passenger. Name corrections can include an addition, deletion, or change of letters.
  • Translation of your first name, such as from Jorge to Jordi (or vice versa)
  • Reversal of first and last names 
  • Entering the second surname
  • Change of middle name 
  • Including the middle name as the last name

  • A name change due to legal reasons provided you submit proper legal documentation, such as:
    • Last name reversal if you reverse your last name after booking your flight

• Name changes made within 24 hours of booking are free only if you make the change online through Vueling’s website (Travel > Manage your booking). However, you must pay the applicable fare difference. 
• Name changes for tickets after 24 hours of booking are subject to a name change fee plus the applicable fare difference. You can make the name change online from the airline’s official website through Travel > Manage your booking or through customer service.
• Vueling Club members can make changes to their personal information online via chat. 
• Vueling airlines name change policy does not permit the addition of a first surname.

Vueling Name Correction Policy

Vueling name correction policy permits the correction of errors or misspellings in the name on your flight reservation free of charge. You can only make name corrections if they do not involve changing your entire name. Examples of name corrections include: 

• Misspellings in names, which can be corrected by adding, deleting, or changing letters, provided you’re not changing passengers. 
• First name translation, like from Jordi to Jorge (or the other way round). 
• Reversing the first and last names. 
• Adding your second surname.
• Changing your middle name. 
• Including your middle name as the last name.
• Adding a compound first or middle name, as long as you don’t change your surname.

To correct the name on your ticket, you will need to contact customer service and ensure that it is done at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of your flight.   

Vueling Name Change Fee

Vueling name change fee is €50 per passenger/per way in addition to the applicable fare difference, regardless of how you request the name change—online, via customer service, or at the airport. 

Remember, you will only have to pay the name change fee if you’re making a name change (name corrections are always free) more than 24 hours after booking your ticket.

You will not be charged any name change fee if you’re making a name change within 24 hours of booking, provided you make the change online through the airline’s official website.
