  • If a passenger has been subpoenaed or has to report for jury duty, the airlines will issue a full refund, subject to the presentation of the subpoena/jury summons. 
  • No refund will be provided for tickets presented after the expiration of their validity period. 
  • Seat selection fees are non-refundable unless: 
    • The airline moves you from a prepaid/preselected seat on account of an involuntary schedule/airport change or for safety/operational purposes

  • Carry-on baggage fees are non-refundable.

You’re entitled to flight delay compensation only if the flight delay (or cancellation) is within the airline’s control and not for safety reasons or reasons beyond the airline’s control, such as bad weather, airport strike, etc. 

  • If you are informed of a flight delay or cancellation at the destination point within 14 days of departure, you will be entitled to a minimum compensation of:
    • $125 if your flight’s arrival time at the destination point is delayed by more than 3 hours and under 6 hours compared to your original flight. 
    • $250 if your flight’s arrival time at the destination point is delayed by 6 hours or more but under 9 hours compared to your original flight. 
    • $500 if your flight’s arrival time at the destination point is delayed by 9 hours or more compared to your original flight.
  • If you are informed of a flight delay or cancellation within 12 hours of the departure time indicated on your original flight ticket and the airline expects that you may have to wait overnight for your original flight or flight offered as part of your alternative travel arrangements, you will be offered free hotel accommodation (or something comparable) at your location plus free transportation from the airport to the hotel and back.
