  • Due to reasons within Swoop Airlines control, in which case you can either ask to be rebooked on a different flight (subject to availability) or obtain a full refund of your ticket (in which case you may be additionally entitled to compensation).

But if Swoop cannot provide a confirmed seat within 48 hours, you can either ask to be booked on another flight convenient to you or request a full refund (but without compensation).
• You change your flight (for a fee) up to 72 hours before departure. Flight changes within 72 hours of departure are not permitted.
• Flight changes will be subject to the applicable fare difference, meaning that:
  • If your new ticket is costlier, you will need to pay the fare difference. 
  • If your new ticket is cheaper, you will not be issued any refund or flight credit.
• According to Swoop Airlines change flight policy, any extras purchased during booking, such as seat selection fees, baggage fees, advanced boarding fees, etc., can be transferred to the new flight (if available). 
• If you’re informed by email that your flight has been cancelled, Swoop Airlines change flight policy allows you to:
  • Take the next flight available on Swoop Airlines or WestJet or
  • Cancel and refund your flight to your original form of payment
• If you purchase ModiFly ($15) at least 14 days before departure when booking your ticket, you can change only the date or time of your flight once (but not the flight route) for free up to 24 hours before departure. Otherwise, you will be charged the standard flight change fee.
• If you don’t purchase ModiFly when booking your ticket, you will be charged the standard flight change fee plus the difference in fares if the new fare is costlier.

Swoop Airlines Flight Change (Online)
